Luke 16:13-31 (Click here for video)

Preacher:
Passage: Luke 16:13-31

Jesus tells the crowd a story about reversals of fortune, provides a picture of those consumed by their own wealth and the life to come as a result. The story of a nameless rich man and a poverty-stricken pauper called Lazarus. This is a parable an earthly story with a heavenly meaning, it is not an actual event, it is a story used by Jesus to stress a point. This is the only recorded parable where Jesus gives a character a name. Trevor unpacks Luke 16:13-31
