In Mark 13:1-11 Jesus is talking about conditions that will exist in the last days and Isaiah looking beyond that to the time of Jesus’ return. Watching TV news, looking on the internet, it is quite obvious that world peace is not a reality at this present time, far from it. A couple of examples Russia launching a missile that destroyed an old satellite, seems to be fairly harmless, but introducing another area of warfare.
