Preacher:
Passage: Jude 1-25, Ecclesiastes 9:11, 1 Timothy 6:12, Matthew 24:13, Hebrews 10:23, Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 3:15; John 16:8, Romans 1:16,

Daniel Douglas introduces himself and shares the work of London City Mission. It is estimated that 1 in 3 Londoners will never hear the Gospel in their lifetime. The work of London City Mission includes training churches, in street outreach and evangelism. They reach out to people who don’t have Christian Friends, people in prison or homeless, from other faiths, people living on the most deprived estates. London City Mission has been joyfully sharing Jesus Christ since 1835.

Daniel Douglas continues with God’s message. Jude's Epistle is written to Christians and there is a somewhat urgency that Jude is writing this. He is writing to his fellow Christian brethren and he says he feels compelled to do so. Now, after seeing memes on the screen, that challenge our faith and looking at some people's attitudes to church and the Bible today, and the state of our world I feel the same. I feel a matter of urgency. We were doing some outreach in Peckham. It is an area in London, part of my mission field and I was speaking with this young man. He was saying, basically, “He'd rather be a multi-millionaire for 50 years and then he wouldn't care about heaven or hell. If he was a multi-millionaire for 50 years he would be OK with going to hell” and I was trying to say to him, “bro don't you understand, eternity , Is not even time. It’s so long it’s outside of time, you can't comprehend forever” He was trying to say to me. “Well God will understand, because if I'm a multi-millionaire, I will help out so many people with my money, that God will really understand.” I had to bust his bubble and say, “bro your good works are like filthy rags to God. It's not based on what we do. You can't earn your way to heaven”…..listen to hear a sermon from Daniel
